Not from the UK but done it often from Holland.
When are you going to do it? How long do you have for it? What are your interests?
If you're just going for as fast as possible I'd get to harwich, get on the ferry to Rotterdam. Drive to Denmark overnight there. Continue on into Sweden for another overnight stop and then a last long push towards Oulu via Tornio and Kemi or another night in Sweden. 4-5 days should be doable. If you've got more time there are loads of possibilities...

I'd take a ferry from Stockholm/Kapellskär to Turku/Naantali. You get to overnight on the ship and still travel.
