Is the city wheelchair friendly? Is the train from the airport to city wheelchair accessible?

Any tips?

Thank you

1. Re: Disability

Some trains are wheelchair friendly but not all.

The Metro from the airport is completely wheelchair friendly with step free access at all stations and onto the metros themselves.

The city is very flat which is of course great for wheel chairs. Some areas of the centre are cobble stones but these can be easily avoided and quite often there are wheelchair/stroller paths in these areas.

Disabled accessible toilets are probably harder to find, you will find them in larger department stores, museums etc but most cafes and restaurants don’t have disabled toilet facilities.
