Looking for a quiet place to stay in Porto

We're going mid-September and the Ribiera apartments on the river look beautiful. But I'm not into loud partying, so should I avoid the Ribiera altogether? What alternatives should I look at that are close to sights and historic neighborhoods but that aren't noisy at night?

Hi the ribiera might be noisy it's also expensive. If I were you I would look at staying in the Sao bento area or the art district area. Both will be cheaper and probably a bit quieter.

The art district is a good area but if you want a good an calm place in ribeira district., not in the river front, but still beautiful, choose inpatio guest house.
