thank you for your reply. I will def. go to Fatima especially if it is just one and a half hours from Lisbon. I may return to Lisbon early as you suggest -what is the weather like in Lisbon during October. Trying to decide now on clothes - what not to bring. Is it warm -

Well regarding the weather:

During the day it can be moderate around 18º and 24º, but the nights might already getting a bit cold.

It can also rain, but not very frequent.

You don't need any heacy clothes, but bring something to keep you warm.
