Driving from Frankfurt to Brussells to Amsterdan

We will be flying in to Frankfurt, renting a car and heading towards Brussels. We'd like to visit Brugge as well. We also want to go to Amsterdan before heading back to Germany. Can any body suggest some places we must see along the way. We will eventually end up in Berlin. Just need some ideas/tips on driving/parking in Brussels, Brugge and Amsterdan.

In Brussels, the closest hotel to the city centre that has free parking is the Courtyard Marriott, halfway to the airport. You could also consider the Expo area, e.g. Holiday Inn Garden Court, from where you can take the metro into the centre from Heysel metro station.

Brugge has plenty of offstreet parking, signposted from all directions when you arrive there, the cheapest is at the railway station.

Amsterdam is beyond the scope of the forum for Belgium, but you really don't want a car in the city centre so stay somewhere outside it and take the tram in.

There is nowhere you "must" see between Frankfurt and Brussels, plenty of places you COULD see depending on interests, e.g. WWII sites around Bastogne, citadels at Dinant and Namur, the spa town of Spa... Also depending on how much time you have - it's a long drive from Amsterdam to Berlin. For driving directions between any of these cities, you can use www.viamichelin.com
