One Day In Amsterdam Anne Frank House

We will be in Amsterdam for one day on a cruise. What is the best way to get to the Anne Frank House? Any recommendation for a good tour or should be do it on our own. Is there a way to purchase a ticket in advance. Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions to enjoy Amsterdam in one day. We arrive into port at 8:00 AM and depart at 6:00 PM

All there,

About 15 mins walk from Central Station and 25 mins from cruise terminal. Or two trams, together maybe 15 mins ride including wait; cost 2.70 per person.

Yes, prebooking tickets is safer. See www.annefrank.org. Can not see what value a tour would add here.

All the best,

Thank you so much for the information. You have made this very easy. I will reserve the tickets.

Thank you again.

Yes, ABSOLUTELY get your tickets on line. We did and walked right in. Those who hadn't faced about a 1-2 hour wait. Just give yourself a little more time than you might think to get there. We found journeys to take much longer than locals predicted (either because of getting lost, or not knowing where to catch the tram or which one, etc.).
