There are good deals to be found on the D90 at the moment - impending d7000 refresh perhaps? - but given that it is a discontinued product, supply could start to dwindle. ;)

We were told that because the Nikon factory in Thailand was destroyed due to the floods last year it's very difficult to find both camera'a and lenses at the moment. Anyway, most people buy photographic equiptment in the big outlets that aren't in the centre of Milan.

By the time of the flood the D90 was already end-of-product -cycle and production had ceased many months so supply of the D90 body wouldn't have been directly affected. However the depletion of D90 inventory may have been accelerated by customers who didn't want to wait for the newer Nikon models that were delayed by the flood.

I buy almost all my photographic gear mail order from Adorama, Pixmania, Robert White et al, soon Nikon will be selling direct in Europe too, is this not an option for you drhako?
