Train, less than an hour by EuroStar Italia, 1h10 by regional trains, see trenitalia website for prices.
Help please. We are travelling from Pisa airport to Riomaggiore on Sunday 30th June. When I look up the train journey, it looks like there are no trains - is just says N.A. Is there a problem with trains on a Sunday? Thanks for any advice,
jo I think the schedules only show the next 7 days, try a near Sunday to see what's available. Here's a similar problem: tripadvisor.com/…26875330Edited: 22 June 2013, 20:26
Go to www.trenitalia.com and click the British flag at the top first for English, then enter Pisa Aeroporto (not Airport) to Riomaggiore. The schedules are shown to December, the fares for connections including a train with reserved seating 120 days in advance, and the fares for connections entirely by Regional trains 7 days in advance.
Buy your tickets in Italy as a delayed plane could make advance tickets worthless.
Thanks both for your useful suggestions, will try it out,
