Changing Trains at Genova Brignole

We have a 10 minutes changing train turn around wondering if anyone can tell me if this will be enough time for English speaking tourists to validate ticket and get to the right platform? Cheers Vikki

Post 10 doesn't make sense to me. Coming from Ventimiglia, the stop before Brignole is Genova Piazza Principe, which is certainly a large station. But Genova Brignole, with 18 platforms, is not a small station.

All of the more than 20 train stations within the Genoa city area are called Genova + something else. So don't look for the word Genova, look for the district name, e.g. Brignole.
