you have to go at train station with a bus called aerobus (very cheap 6 euro) and after to Florence with a train it takes 1 hour in the train and 25 minutes with the bus
Have a look at -- www.Bologna-Airport.it --.
Thanks for that - I am now feel more confident - first time travelling in Europe on my own! Vicki
If you are flying into Forli airport from Stanstead you will have to get a bus to the train station in Forli.
The bus stop is outside the departure building
Hi, I'm doing the same thing as Bollidarling. We leave Stansted and arrive at Forli.
Do we have to book the tickets from the airport to trainstation? Are they plentiful enough to wait for the next one? I think we arrive at about 10 am.
The bus for Bologna departs at about 30 - 40 mins after the flight arrives from Stanstead. The cost is 10 euros one way. You do not need to book tickets in advance. You pay on the bus.
If you miss the bus transfer to Bologna. There is also a bus service to the train station in Forli which has a direct train to Bologna.
But the best way to Bologna is on the bus.
Check out the Forli airport website
You need to click on e-bus (however the instructions in the e-bus website are in Italian but here are the directions for you to follow to get a bus timetable)
Click on e-bus link in Forli website (on left hand side of screen 3/4 way down)
In the e-bus page click on 'Servizi' at the top on page
Then click on 'Servizio Aeroporto Forli' on the right hand side of the page half way down
