Most of the larger supermarkets will sell cider. Typically it will be Spanish cider from Asturias or Galicia regions. The supermarket at El Corte Ingles, including Club del Gourmet, stock some international brands such as Kopparberg and Spanish craft ciders from San Sebastián.

It very much depends on the type of bars you visit. High end bars won’t, but traditional Spanish bars may stock Spanish cider. Casa Mingo is a great place to enjoy cider and their roast chicken is good too!

A google search for ‘Sidrería Madrid’ should throw up some results for bars and restaurants where cider is a speciality.

Some bars where they sell cider:

El Ñeru on Calle Bordadores 5 (nearby Plaza Mayor)

La Bobia on Calle San Millan 3 (Metro: La Latina)

Casa Mingo on Paseo de la Florida 34 (nearest Metro: Principe Pio)

A popular, relatively new cider which has had a lot of advertising in Madrid is Ladron de Manzanas (Apple thief). Most supermarkets stock it, or at least ones I've been in (Supercor, Ahorra Mas, El Corte Ingles) and some bars should have it.

Yes, Ladrón de Manzanas (Apple Thief, a fox) is a new popular cider-based drink, but it is not the traditional Asturian cider if you are looking for that. It is just a pleasant soda-like sparkling cider that is available on tap or bottled in many bars.

Good recommendation by Charlton. Another one to look out for is ‘The Good Cider of San Sebastian’ - also available in El Corte Ingles.
