How late is Leon Cathedral open?

I will be in Leon for just one evening in September. Is there anything to see in Leon after 5pm? Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

BennyMalaga,

I presume that indicating through the link that the San Marcos Monastery is another place to see in Leon. But the question is "Is it open in the evening?." The same goes for the Cathedral.

Thanks

Yes, the San Marcos Monastery is open in the evening because it is a hotel.

Here are the opening times for the Cathedral:

Don't forget 5pm isn't evening in Spain, it's afternoon! Afternoon opening hours for shops and many visitors attractions are 4/5pm - 8ish pm. This will depend on the individual place, but 5pm is not late. Remember also Spanish don't eat until 9.30pmish.

Opening hours for the cathedral are here: catedraldeleon.org/index.php/visitas-turitic…

If you put "what to see in Leon" into Google, a whole load of ideas pop up!
