Does the cable car operate to go to Niederwald in December?
But not after the Christmas market has closed. Note that the cars are open so the trip can be pretty cold, potentially distinctly colder than at street level. If it isn't icy (or misty or wet), the walk back down through the vineyards is pleasant - it isn't signed but the general direction to take is obvious as you can see Rüdesheim clearly the whole way.
Thanks again Oli-6. I could not find that page in English ;)
becasse thanks for your advice. We will be there before Christmas market close :) & will monitor on the day depending on weather conditions.
They give you blankets. It is a fun ride actually. Try and go about 15:00 or so and then you get the setting sun, plus the lights in Rüdesheim, Bingen and the ships.
sounds beautiful, thanks for the great advice. do not want to miss this now :)
