lst time visit to Germany

Will be in Germany 28 May first time. Plan 2 visit Munich, Cologne, Dusseldort. Will be in Germany 28 May - 4 Jun. Can advise what is the best itinerary. Currently we plan arrive frankfurt we put luggage at Holiday Inn Express City Hauptbahnhof, Then hop on train to connect to Munich (28 -30 May) stay at TOP Carmen. Then 30 May we take train Munich to Cologne (can recomend hotel at Cologne. Want to visit the chocolate factory. Take train Cologne to Dusseldorf (sort of like a day trip) try to take overnight train from Dusseldorf to Frankfurt (arr Frankfurt on 2 Jun) and visit places of interest, shopping, market streets before dep for Singapore flight is 2200 hours on 4 Jun

You cannot take an overnight train from Düsseldorf to Frankfurt .. it's just 90 min by train

Look up Google Maps. Munich is south of Frankfurt. Cologne is north of Frankfurt.

be careful not to mix up frankfurt am main (where you propably want to go) with franfurt oder (where the overnight train is propably going to).

Dear Anne,

Thanks for the tips. change my plan, WIll not be taking any over-night train. Did some searches and the train tickets are too expensive.
