Hi,
I have a 3-hour gap in Wurzburg. Since these are corona times, I just want to have a short walk in Würzburg. I have a piece of large luggage. I can see in other posts that there is a locker facility but does it fit a large suitcase? Can someone please respond urgently I have my train tomorrow. I will plan accordingly.

Thank you and last question: I hope its also working now and not closed due to Corona
i dont know wurtzburg but i have found that many lockers in germany use coins so go with a good selection
in frankfurt i needed 6 of 1 euro coins !

I think you mean Würzburg main station.
As most german stations there are freely available deposit boxes, not a (serviced) locker room.

Usual size of a locker: Large B47 x H61 x T91 cm Small B28 x H42 x T76 cm. There is a limited number of lockers; I hope most of them will be functional and you find an unoccupied one.
