Hi I am going to Munich hopefully in July , if the rules stay the same I will need to get a test to return home. Are there test centres easily accessed where you cam get one for a fee ?
Any help appreciated
Although it is not really easy accessible if your are downtown...
Theres plenty of pop up test centres in the city centre. Best ask again nearer the time to see which ones are still in operation.
The good thing about them is that they are way cheaper than the one at the airport, only €60 or so for a pcr test in some places.
The rules still depend a lot on the city or region. For instance, in Bavaria, an FFP2 mask is mandatory in public transport, shops, or on some crowded places. (There are signs when it's required.) But in the rest of Germany, you can wear a surgical mask. That does make a difference. You can get a surgical mask for around EUR 0.50 each at Rossmann drugstore, but you have to order the FFP2 masks online if you don't want to break the bank, and even then, you pay around EUR 1.50 each.
As for the actual figures, who knows. They change each day.Edited: 07 February 2021, 10:31
Petra, the mentioned prices are wrong, respectively were right only in the first few days. 12 days ago we bought FFP2 masks by PENNY for 99 cent/piece, And last week ALDI offered the same price.
This are only 2 examples, I think there are more supermarkets with the same price.
Oh, I just see, I was wrong, but too late to modify. It was not the supermarket PENNY, it was NETTO:
hey! could you please tell how to find those pop ups right now? didn't see anything in the centre and tried looking for them on the net and didn't find anything. thanks a lot!
Artem, please tell us, what for you are asking. What pop ups??
I suppose that Artem is referring to this post:
#2 >> Theres plenty of pop up test centres in the city centre.<<<
Perhaps somebody could post some adresses.
Patara, that was my first suggestion. But then I ask myself, why Artem could not find any. A simple search an Google show you a lot of them. So I thought maybe I've understand it wrong.
