1. Re: D day tours

We enjoyed our full day tour with Overlord but, as we did not use any other company, cannot say whether they are the best.

For the hotel, how many of you will be travelling and how many euros do you want to spend per night?

You can't spend pounds in Bayeux. How much is that in euros?

Sorry, but I can't think of a "best hotel" at that price.

Hi sorry for misunderstanding when I say "best hotel" I meaning where we are near to where we could get picked up for your or that we are in centre of bayuex. Sorry that's me not making it clear x

And maybe a b&b or something that does good value for money meals etc not to pricey something in the middle.

I stayed at the Campanile, motel-style in walking distance from the centre of Bayeux, where the tours depart.

Would stay there again.

We have stayed in a lovely B&B in Bayeux, but its prices start at €80. I think you will be lucky to find nice accommodation for €60.
