train station

Every year we struggle with our suitcases up those steps to the platform. Is there a secret lift somewhere that we don't know about?

From the website /www.jaccede.com about Toulouse Matabiau -

Yup, me as well. Quite a few of the platforms do have lifts, but that's no consolation if your train is leaving from one without one.

Apart from the platforms nearest to the main concourse, the lifts are at the ends of the platforms, not the middle, so you won't find them by going down the central subways under the tracks that feed off the main waiting hall.

Apparently there is a welcome/ greeting service in the station for disabled travellers. I'm sure they would be happy to point out whatever accessibility options there are.

Now I feel the pain even more ! It is the same s**t in Narbonne.

I believe the assistance for disabled must be ordered in advance - seen them in action in Narbonne.
