Trying to plan hike of St. Kevin's Way

I am travelling to Ireland in June and am interested in hiking the 30km St. Kevin's Way pilgrim walk. I've looked up what information I can online but have some questions. Do I need to register to do this hike? I will be travelling around prior to going to the Wicklow area and will have a rental car which I will have to leave at one end of the hike...any suggestions on options for getting from Glendalough to Hollywood (or vice versa)? I was hoping to do the hike over 2 days and am wondering if there are options for accommodations midway? It seems there are some organized hiking tours however I would really rather do it without an escort/group. Any help someone can offer is most appreciated!

No need for a ticket . I’d leave the car in Hollywood rather than Glendalough as there have been quite a number of break-ins to cars at Glendalough.
