Road Closures in Clare 21 August 11

Just to make you all aware that due to the Sky ride cycle on Sunday 21st August 2011, there will be extensive road closures around the county..

These extend from Ennis to Ballyvaughan to Miltown Malbay and towns in between.

On the day of the race, most of the attractions will be open. Doolin caves will open at the later time of 11.40 and Aillwee Cave at 10.15. Cliffs of Moher and Doolin Ferries appear to be operating as usual.

You might need to allow some extra time for your journey though, so it is worth checking out the route if you are going to be in the area.

For full details of closures and diversions, check out

Last year there was a great atmosphere around Ennis for the finish, so if you are around the town be sure to check it out.
