Hi wrappido,

No I'm not doing B&B,unfortunately I can't offer you a bed as I have a full house for the weekend.

With the new road you should do Dublin to Waterford in about 90 mins now.

You can also track the vessels arriving on www.marinetraffic.com

just click on the pink arrows on the map. The Russian Vessel "Mir" should be arriving shortly.

Hi all,

Don't miss Lord Nelson a tall ship from the fantastic charity the Jubilee Sailing Trust. She takes people of all physical abilities to sea, both able-bodeid and the physically disabled!

Ah yes but you will not have the Asgard with you as we had in Dublin as it is now at the bottom of the Norweigan sea and the Jeannie Johnston is still tied up at the Liffey but she may make a late appearance. If I go down it will be on the train can always come back on Tuesday.

It has been an outstanding 3 days here in Waterford & the crowds are gathering here in Dunmore East already for the start of the race (judging by the amount of people walking down my road) .I haven't ventured out yet to see if the ships have arrived down river, but there are plenty helicopters overhead.

The sun is out,its HOT & there isn't a cloud in the sky !!!

What a fantastic way to end a spectacular Tall Ships Festival 2011 & Waterford are confirmed to host it again in the near future.
