Mount Wolseley in Tullow Co Carlow would prob fit the bill.It has a spa too!

There is another hotel nearby which may be cheaper but the pool is much much smaller and the food a bit hit and miss

The Mount Wolesley in Tullow Co. Carlow is lovely. Nice big houses, lovely bar food in Aarons bar - their Bailey's Creme Brulee is fab.

The houses are only a short walk from the main hotel.

We've stayed there and I would have no problems recommending it.

The only one | kmow of and can vouch for is Clifden Station House in Clifden Co Galway.

Excellant hotel and within the grounds is a leisure centre and cinema.
