Traveling Sunday to Ireland. Coat or jacket?
Fleece and rain coat ... ...safest options
yes!, a coat or jacket would be advisable. we dont know what the weather will be like. possibly cold, possibly mild, possibly wet, possibly dry
you do not say where you are from so we do not know what you are used to.
Local weather tends to be changeable.
Tonight at 10 pm it was 11 degrees. There is talk that it will be far colder over the weekend . Bring layers .Edited: 15 November 2018, 22:40
Bring something waterproof.
Whatever possessed you to take a coach tour in late November? Hours sitting on a bus watching the rain run down the windows in the dark ... Not my idea of fun.
+1 @ Fuchasia's comment, the miserable weather and lack of daylight hours make this the worst time of year in Ireland, really the months from November to April are not travel friendly, it was dark here in my area of Limerick at 3.30 pm yesterday because of the rain and this morning again daylight wasn't until 8.30 am.
is limerick in a different time zone? i was out walking in the daylight at 0730 this morning !
Sunrise here today was officially 08.05, but it wasn't really light til 08.30 , what with thick cloud and the mountains in the way.
