Killarney or Kenmare question

Leaving Dingle on Monday morning October 8 . We have essentially 3 nights until we have to be at Shannon airport on Thursday for a 15:30 flight.

I was thinking of just staying in Killarney but wondered if we should spend a night in Kenmare as I really want to do the Beara Peninsula and want to make it easier on my friend who is driving.

What if we went from Dingle to Kenmare, spent Monday night there, Tuesday , Beara, drive to Killarney and spend the next 2 nights there?

Thanks

Yes, what you have written is perfectly doable.

Makes sense to me. The Beara is the best as far as I'm concerned.

Personally I never see the point in relocating between the two. They are so close that what you gain in location convenience, you lose in time spend checking in and out of accommodation.

I would normally stay in Killarney, but in your case, I think what you propose is actually a good idea. An added advantage is that you get to experience BOTH towns.

I think your traveling companions will actually appreciate the 'change up'.
