I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem on the sand as its not a fire hazard in that environment - I cannot remember seeing signs to the contrary last time I was there. In any forested areas I would think it would be a different matter (such as Culbin) However with the amount of rain we have been having recently I would imagine the fire risk is low!!
