Loch Lomond vs Perthshire

Hi I have the option to stay 3-4 nights in either Loch Lomond (Cameron House, near Balloch) or Perthshire (Kinloch House, near Blairgowrie). Which is a better base? We want to explore beautiful scenery, enjoy good weather. Is the Fort William area a must see or is the area around Perth equally pretty?
