Wheelchair access to days out 30 miles around Kendal

Taking father who is 90 and in a wheelchair for a few days just north of Kendal. What kind of day trips are possible - walks suitable for the wheelchair, boat trips, any other possibilities. Thank you.

If you can squeeze just north of Keswick into your range Latrigg will give a breathtaking view. I mean really amazing. (Assuming the weather's good!). It's a short walk from the Gale Road car park.

If you want a boat trip, a trip on the Ullswater Steamers is a fine option. It looks like they are happy to take wheelchair users albeit with some caveats, and suggest you get in touch with them first to find out more:
