B&B Accommodation Raceweek

Hi,

I am looking for a twin room for two people for the Gold Cup meeting at Cheltenham this March. Its for 2 nights arriving on the 12th. Town centre would be great.....

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You might have left it a bit late as most places are booked up by Christmas.

If you don't mind self-catering or basic B&B, contact the tourist office and ask about private lets. Lots of people in the town rent out their houses or rooms for the duration of the races.

Thanks Mrs D,

Its a last minute job. A private house with a room to let or a basic B&B would be fine. Thanks for your help.

Make sure you leave plenty of time for your journey to the racecourse - the traffic can be horrific!!

Enjoy your trip :-))

Places are limited and apart from contacting the local tourist board here is a list of places available on late rooms

laterooms.com/en/…

And as always, the prices have tripled or quadrupled due to it being raceweek as it always does in Cheltenham at this time.

The Clarence Court and the big sleep are in the centre of town, the CC is literally in pitville which is about 15 mins walk to the racecourse, but also only a 5-10 min walk down into the centre of town.

The Queens is also in the centre of town, but up near the nicer part of Montpellier, which is always busy during raceweek, with lots of bars and restaurants across the road, and walkable to the racecourse too, maybe 30 mins, or a 10 min walk into town to catch the special bus which leaves from the centre up to the racecourse.
