Lookin for a nice quiet place to stop for a picnic tomorrow (Sunday 8th july) somewhere around Cheltenham on our way down to the southern coast from the northwest.

Top of Cleeve Hill would be good or the Devil's Chimney near Leckhampton

If you want more facilities, toilets, cafe etc, Pittville Park in central Cheltenham - follow signs to Race Course and Pittville Pump Room. Brilliant children's play area, if needed.

Frampton-on-Severn has a large village green, with pubs and shop, or Saul Junction, canal side and a pleasant half hour boat trip.

Hatherley Park very nice too and much quieter than Pitville Park.
