Kid friendly place to eat near Exeter M5 Travelodge

Staying one night at the Travelodge next week. I know it's next to the services, but are there any other places to eat nearby? Thanks.

You're not far from Topsham, where there is an abundance of great places to eat (as is the case for Exmouth, 5 minutes further, and with the seaside thrown in). We like the Passage House Inn on Topsham's quayside very much. A list of good East Devon pubs can be found here: mazzardfarm.com/mazzard-farms-favourite-devo…

Enjoy!

There's a rural pub with food close by - the Blue Ball. Getting there from the services sounds complicated but isn't: go back to the main M5 roundabout and take the A3052 towards Sidmouth. This is a dual carriageway and after a few hundred metres there is a roundabout. Do a complete U-turn here, and at the next traffic lights turn left down a relatively minor road. The pub is a bit further along on the right. It will take you five minutes in the car.
