Mousehole to Newlyn walk?

is there a coastpath to walk between Mousehole and Newlyn?

am trying to plan some days out and was thinking of twinning the 2 but didn't know how long walking between them would take?

also can anyone recommend a cheap public car path at either of the 2?

thanks :)

Very easy walk, all but a short stretch is on road, but views are wonderful. It's about two miles.. There are a small number of free on road parking places as you come into Mousehole, you may be lucky. sorry don't know prices of car parks

ros3y ~

Mousehole in fact is an easy walk from Penzance (via Newlyn) -- about 3 miles. Just follow the coastline. Great views of Mounts Bay and St. Michael's Mount almost all the way along.

Many years ago, I used to walk from Marazion to Penzance & back two or three times a week. Walked from Marazion to Mousehole & back a few times as well--though, more often, went part of the way by bus.

In the other direction, I also highly recommend the walk between Marazion and Prussia Cove along the coastal path by way of Perranuthnoe.

Hi. We walked this on Friday. After the harbour in Newlyn look for the cycle oath sign which gives you some off road coastal path time and then when you have to go back to road it is a nice wide pavement with the fabulous views mentioned on another reply. Also there are interesting allotments to admire and it is worth stoping to pay respects at the Penlee lifeboat memorial. When you see the rock pool car park on your left just before Mouseholle I would recommend a stop at the wonderful cafe, maybe first going down the steps to enjoy the beautiful rock pool. You will get to see the other side of the St Michaels Mount from that you enjoy from Marazion, also - if you enjoy good food and want a brunch or lunch stop in Newlyn you can either go to Fuke Street Cafe or for a real retreat either lunch or dinner I can recommend the amazing chef and lovely team at the Tolcarne Inn in Newlyn. Worth booking for a great dinner. Stones taxi journey back to Marazion was only about £14
