What is the best way to get from Cornwall to Ireland

I'm not seeing any ferry connections from Cornwall to Wales. It seems like that is the closest point to get a ferry to Ireland, but why can't I find a ferry from Cornwall to Wales?

Because there aren't any ferry servicesfrom Cornwall to Wales. Presumably not enough demand and I think it is difficult for ferries to charge a commercially viable fare when people have the option of driving.

So your options are probabaly limited to:

Train to Fishguard or Swansea to catch a ferry.

Drive ditto

Train to Holyhead and ferry

Possibly look at Brittany Ferries as they may have ferries from Plymouth to Rostock in France that might connect with a service from Rostock to Cork.

Fly from Newquay to Dublin on Air Southwest

I can't think of any good reason for there to be a ferry service from Cornwall to Wales.

If you want to go by ferry, best to drive or get a train to wherever in Wales you want to get your ferry from.

The quickest way is to fly from Newquay.

there is no need for a ferry from Cornwall to Wales as they are both on the same island of Gt Britain, you do however need a ferry to Ireland as it is is a separate island. But all are within the British Isles, confusing, I know
