Does anyone know if the City Rail Link Bus Service still operates? This connects the Chester Railway Station with the City Centre, circular route.
I believe so - you can download a copy of the timetable here: cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/residents/… .
Thanks for your response Phil. I did check on the link you gave and it states 2012. I know that the service was in operation then, but on my recent visits to Chester have not noticed if for a while.
Appreciate your help though.
Well it is still showing up on the "Traveline" website which is usually kept up to date, so it should be running - see traveline-northwest.co.uk/timetableplanner/… .
Oh, yes, thanks again, your help very much appreciated.
Be aware that it is now operated as a commercial fare paying service, operated by Aintree Coachline and is no longer free to use and that includes those with a train ticket.
Well, that is good to know, thanks so much for this info.
I have seen it running, but have heard it is no longer free.
Thanks Penny, appreciate your reply.
Quite right Penny. I have heard it is £1 but don't know whether that is one way or return
Can you use your senior citizens bus pass on this commercial service?
