Volcano hikes to the summit

Are there any tour guides that offer trips to the summit ? I’m fit and strong and an experienced mountaineer, so realize it’s a good climb.

Volcanos are best hiked in Nicaragua and Guatemala.

You could hike to Cerro Chato next to Arenal. it's extinct and I think it is legal. I can't comment on the "reward" of accomplishment of this one, but know folks that liked it.

Cerro Chato had been closed, for safety issues, for quite a while. Can someone confirm if it's open or not?
