Cabo or Puerto Vallarta??

Cabo or Puerto Vallarta??

Which one is better...RIU Cabo San Lucas, RIU Palace Pacifico, or Vallarta Palace?

In a few months, we will be a honeymooning couple in our early 30's. We have narrowed our search down to the aforementioned three places. A beautiful beach with the ability to go in the ocean worry-free, & great food & drinks are what we are trying to achieve on our trip. Can anyone help us make up our mind?

RIU Pacifico is not open yet so you won't hear anything on that. If you are planning to visit downtown PV that RIU and the Palace are located in Nuevo about 45 minutes north ($25 US cab) to town.

Comparing PV to Cabo:

PV has mountains and jungle plus a real old time feel of Mexico. Cabo is more in a flat desert area. Both hve good beaches but not the white sand or crystal blue water of the Carribean.

We stayed at the RIU Santa Fe in Cabo which was a great hotel but we could not swim in the ocean because the undertow was too great. That was the only bummer....If you went down the beach a ways there was a swimmable beach, just not in front of the hotel. Also in Cabo, there was no HUMIDITY!!!! The weather was awesome,,,,,,,,I love PV too though, going there in September!!!!
