Hi again

The Riu Palace is very near Cabo San Lucas, the largest city in Los Cabos. It's a long walk to town (slanted beach + sidewalk), a fairly short bus ride (about $1 US), or a fast taxi ride ($14 US.)

Night life is in town.

As far as I know, the Riu Palace still has the most reports of room theft of all resorts in Los Cabos. So keep your valuables locked up in a good way (not the safe) or hope that you're lucky & not in one of the theft-ring-rooms.

February is warm days & cool nights. Whale watching is a popular activity.

The RIU is a decent place to stay if you’re into massive resorts.

It’s about a mile or so away from shopping and nightlife. Weather is usually exceptionally good year round in Cabo.

The All Inclusive RIU Palace is a nice resort. The just put in a new water park due to open soon.

Cabo has so many terrific restaurants its almost criminal to do an All Inclusive.

If you are sure about doing AI, I'd suggest you also look at the Sandos Finisterra. It seems to have a much better rep. for safety/theft............I haven't stayed at either-so this is simply from reading here, not from any personal experience.

Feb. is a great time to go! Should you chose to look at non-AI or partial AI resorts, take a look at www.trapperscabolist.com for lots of good restaurant info.

The night life is just a short Taxi ride in a large Van. People at the Riu Palace or Santa Fe usually who want to go party at the clubs in town usually hook up together for a Taxi ride into town to reduce the Taxi Fare. Also, you will be able to go to the new Pool Parties held at the Riu Santa Fe. Watch the video.

It's a short two mile ride to downtown from the RIU, but expect to pay big money for the taxi ride each way.

The Riu Palace is a good choice if you are looking for an all inclusive.

We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Blanco (PBB) and booked it through Alaska Airlines as package of Flight and all inclusive hotel. PBB is in a good location with easy walk to town. It is connected to Pueblo Bonito Rose (PBR)so you can use both resorts. That is good because PBR has a really good fitness center. If you do all inclusive you can eat at PBB, PBR, PB Sunset, PB Pacifica etc. It works out good so you can explore different properties, their pools and their restaurants. The Steak House at Quivera was an extra charge but amazing experience. There is a free shuttle too. What I like about PBB is that it is not too massive, all rooms have balconies with views, and the pool area is right down near beach level so it is easy to go back and forth and feel connected to the beach.

Just a note. PB Blanco is also known as PB Los Cabos.

Just curious about what the source and data is for this comment? It is a pretty strong put down on a very nice resort from what we have seen, and we stay at many RIUs. Maybe we should reconsider if this is in fact true, but would like concrete validation if you would provide it please.
