The Fiesta A is my go to hotel. Right in the center of the bay and walking distance to so many places. If you have mobility issues, getting up and down to and from the beach could be an issue. Other than that, it is a great hotel. I can't comment on the casinos. Not my cup of tea. There are shopping malls and sports bars like any big city.

There is a casino upstairs in the Gran Plaza shopping mall across from the Acapulco Ritz Hotel or Krystal Hotel, there is another casino at the Diana Circle across the road from the Emporio Hotel (formerly the Continental) There is also a shopping mall across from the Emporio.

I made my donation with Senor Hank at Emotions last time in town I believe and many more across the town to try. The Fiesta Americana puts you along with a few other hotels very much in the center of the bay area so very walkable to everything. Have a great time!!

I think the 'casinos' in ACA would be better described as 'slot rooms'. You won't find much in the way of table games (unless things have changed?). The machine buttons are in Spanish; but once you know which button is which they're easy enough to play. If I'm remembering right, the house keeps a percentage off the top — if & when you hit a jackpot (10% I think). It's a fun way to spend a few hours, if you gamble in moderation.

There is a casino called Caliente Casino in La Isla Shopping Center. They had a couple of black tables and a roulette table for some live action. I had a few good hits on roulette and was out of there in 20 minutes. The place was nice and the people were friendly.

Now I have a question, do all the casinos in Acapulco charge a tax when you cash out? I got juiced for 10% and they would not give me a receipt or let me take a picture of the receipt. I was so happy that I won some decent money in such a short time I did not make a big deal of it.
