Tutto Bene, Breezez, Beachside Cafe, Kendrick's, Rowdy Joe's, Duggan's, Bacchus - there are so many great restaurants - almost every place you go is good. Some good beach bar/restaurants are: Off the Wall, Mahi's, Deep End, EAT at Cane Bay.

What crabgroupie said.

There are MANY great restaurants on STX.

Tutto Bene is one my favorites.

For lower cost try Angry Nates. For really good local fare ther's Kim's and Harvey's.

On the west end there's Turtles deli, Coconuts and Rhythms at Rainbow Beach.

Although all the prviously mentioned restaurants are very good, many are what us common folk call pricey.

Others in addition to the above lists: Savant, No Bones Cafe and Bombay Club. A lot of people like Rumrunners.

My favorites are Bacchus, Kendricks and Savant, but they are not mid-range restaurants - they are pricey but well worth it IMO. We also like Bombay Club, No Bones and Turtles Deli in F'sted.

I don't like Angry Nates and we got a horrible meal at Duggans last time.

If you're in Frederiksted, Blue Moon Cafe is great. Best gumbo I've ever had.

Turtle's Deli in Frederiksted is a must as is Polly's at the Pier. Singh's Fast Food in Christiansted for great West Indian food. Great Barbeque at Good Spirits on the East End. Off The Wall at Cane Bay - great Beach Bar and grille.

For your special night out try a sunset dinner on the beach at the BeachSide Cafe at SandCastles in Frederiksted. Get a reservation for Saturday night(usually have live jazz), beachfront table, ask for Rita as your server, get there before sunset (not inexpensive like the above but worth it). Also treat yourself to a sunset cocktail at the Terrace Room Bar at the Buccaneer. Larry Love, the bartender will take good care of you.

Enjoy...

Did I miss Case Place? Agree w/No Bones, always good. Both in C-sted. For F'sted, definitely Polly's - agree to split what you order unless you've got fridge. F'sted, Blue Moon, nice atmosphere and good service.

Is Villa Morales closed? Was always good... West end.

rcarp - I think I read that Case Place is now closed. There is a new place in Gallows called The Bistro - will try to get there in June. We finally got to try Blue Moon and really enjoyed it and again had good food and service at Blue Water Terrace. Salud is our absolute favorite but Tutto Bene was wonderful.. They were just bringing in fresh Wahoo and it was delicious.
