Excursion from cruise ship HELP!

I found an excursion through viator that looked awesome; however, the times don't seem to work out with when our Royal Caribbean ship comes into port. Can anyone recommend a sail that would include snorkeling/stops at Sting Ray city, coral gardens and starfish point? Our cruise ship states we are in port 10:30am to 6:00 pm. Thanks for any tips or recommendations!!

While this forum is not specifically aimed at cruise visitors (the site mentioned above IS), I can tell you that the times given to you are approximate. You also need to factor in time to be brought ashore & taken back to your ship. Ships don't dock in George Town.....they anchor offshore & passengers are transported on tenders.

If you are looking for an excursion, you might be best served to book through your cruise line. They will be responsible for getting you back to the ship on time.

Yes, your best bet is to book via the cruise line. Sometimes weather issues prevent ships from anchoring off GeorgeTown so they situate off South Shore which would further complicate matters by choosing an alternate vendor.

Excursions from the cruise line tend to me more expensive, but built in to it is the assurance that you will go on the trip and will be back in time to embark and that you won't have the extra expense of a full price one-way airfare to the next destination. :-)
