Traffic Control in effect in El Yunque this weekend

From the National Forest Service ...

With high visitation to the Forest expected during the last weeks of March, Forest Supervisor Pablo Cruz has initiated a Traffic Control Operation to be in effect as needed starting Friday March 22 through Sunday March 31 as a way to help manage anticipated high visitation and limited parking.

During the Holy Week, if it is necessary to close access to the Forest due to high visitation, this will occur at La Coca Falls (PR 191 Km 7.9) and will be announced on electronic signs and over the Forest radio station 1710 AM that can be heard in the vicinity of the Forest.
