safety in light of state of emergency in st James Parish

Hi, my family with two young kids will be travelling to Moon Palace next week and I am a little nervous with the news in Canada saying that there is a state of emergency in Montego Bay and area. Is anyone on this forum in Ocho Rios now or just get back? I'm not super nervous about around the resort but we arrive in Montego Bay and then go to the resort...I don't know if I'm being an irresponsible parent... I know we are not staying in Montego Bay but we still have to go through there. Thanks so much!

Courtney

Is it still raining everyday there?! I hope the weather clears up soon. I’m looking forward to visit the Luminous Lagoon in Falmouth where the luminescence can be best seen on a Sunny day only. Is it also rainy in Falmouth by the way?

Yes, definitely a night tour only at the luminescent lagoon.
