Diving at Christmas

Is St. George the best place to stay if we are interested in diving? Also what is visiblity and water temp in Dec.

Anywhere in the southern part of the island where most hotels are located is a good base for diving. Grand Anse area, Lance Aux Epines, and True Blue neighborhoods are all good locations.

I am not a diver so cannot comment on visibility in Dec.

Hi,

St.George's would definitely be the area to stay in for easy access to the dive centers. Some dive centers will collect you via land transport if you are not staying at their associated resort - check when you contact them.

Visibility in December averages 60-80ft - Grenada is the same as anywhere though: if there is stronger winds then the water will be less clear.
