Weather in October

We are looking at going back to Bonaire the beginning of October with friends who have never been to the Island. I am concerned that this is meant to be the start of the rainy season. Can anyone tell me of past experiences at this time. Is it likely to be just a few odd showers or does it really rain!!!! Also any other comments about going this time would be appreciated as concerned that it is not really not the ideal time to go.

The rains really start more into November into March when we do get rain. Oct. lacks wind due to hurricane season so can be hot and more humid. If you are divers you will be very happy.

Many thanks Caribchakita for the info on the weather. We are all divers, so hopefully it should be good.
