Barbados - Best All Inclusive???

We are a group of about 20 that are looking for a destination for gang vacation next July 2011.

Due to seasonal limitations, being hurricane/rainy season, we are seeking a spot that is safe, least likely to get hit, etc.

The group enjoys a lively time, but are not yahoos, or hooligans...(the event is the observation of the 50th birthday for most of the gentlemen - all falling next year at some point).

We are looking for good food, great beach, clean safe slightly

upscale accomodations.

Price should be inclusive of all of the above, plus liquor, and some watersports.

Some of the guys may wish to golf.

Some may wish to fish or sail.

All of the girls will want to shop!

Any suggestions?

Crystal Cove?

The Wave?

Have looked at both, but that's about it.

Thanks in advance!!!

On the West Coast I can recommend Crystal Cove and Mango Bay, both on nice beaches, Mango Bay is within walking distance of lots of lovely shops, banks, restaurants etc. CC is a short bus ride away from these facilities.

Turtle Beach on the south coast is a short walk into the night life at the Gap, beach is nice but not as calm as the waters on the west. Bridgetown for shopping is a short bus ride away.

There are golf courses on both coasts so that should not be a problem.

Entertainment in all the hotels is low key but enjoyable.

Mango Bay offer a catamaran cruise within the price and there are a couple of guys around who can take you out fishing.

I have not stayed at the Waves - it is on a busy main road and just a short bus ride from shops, bars etc.
