Showers in Bermuda

Okay, I just read the 10 day forecast for Bermuda, and it looks like 3 of the 5 days we are there will have showers - what does that mean in Bermuda? Warm showers? Now and then intermittent rain? We plain on bringing rain slickers - but what else might be needed? Anybody have an opinion?

Weather is weather....whether you like it or not.

With the changing 'seasons' Bermuda's weather can be more UN-predictable than normal. Forecasts of '..showers..' can mean either the occasional 'heavy cloud' passing over and a few minutes of 'localized' rain...or it could mean rain, '..on 'n off..' all day long.

So it's usually just best to ignore the forecasts...hope for the best...but...be prepared for the worst...with a light-weight, folding, rain coat/slicker and/or folding umbrella. One of the items that we always carry with us are 'Dollar Store' rain ponchos. They're much more 'durable' than you might imagine cheap, fit easily into tote or bag, and 'do the job' when necessity requires (though not an especially chic 'look').
