Would someone please advise what regulations are in place for scooters & local vendor names in Warwick?
Sorry, I always take the Bus.
Not sure what you mean by, "..what regulations are in place for scooters & local vendor names in Warwick..". To the best of my knowledge the AUXILIARY BICYCLES ACT with regard to "..names..' of rental liveries.
Minimum age for tourist motor scooter rentals is now eighteen(18) years old. There is no minimum age for a pillion passenger. No drivers license or motorcycle amendment is required for rental. You must wear a proper helmet (provided by the rental livery for both driver & passenger with rental) when riding. All of the usual traffic regulations apply.
There are no motor scooter rental liveries in Warwick Parish. The nearest rental liveries to most locations within Warwick Parish will be--
OLEANDER CYCLES--Valley Road (nr: Middle Road), Paget
EVE'S CYCLES--Middle Road (at: St. Paul's Lane)
ELBOW BEACH CYCLES--(at: Elbow Beach Hotel, South Road) Paget--
SMATT'S CYCLE LIVERY--(at: Fairmont Southampton Hotel) Southampton Parish)--
But since all Bermuda cycle liveries will provide free shuttle service to rental locations or delivery to your location, you should also check out--
We (as well as numerous family, friends & acquaintances) have been renting from OLEANDER CYCLES for a few decades and have always been ***VERY SATISFIED*** with their equipment, service and price. Oleander is the largest motor scooter rental livery in Bermuda, with the most rental/shop locations, situated from end-to-end and shore-to-shore of Bermuda. So no matter where you are in Bermuda, you're never very far from an Oleander shop if you happen to need 'em.
Thank you for the information.
We travel to Bermuda about 2 to 3 times a year, stick with Oleander. If you go to the Oleander website and pre-book you get a discounted rate. The only way to see the island is on a scoot, they are alot of fun. Remember to stay to the LEFT. Have a great trip.
