Decent food store in the village to make up a picnic.
Then head for the reservoir or down to Glendalough.

Spar market, however the Sugar Mountain Cafe a few doors from the Roundwood Pharmacy had delicious scones & baked goods, consider a take out and head to the Vartry Reservoir.
