I will be travelling from the airport to Kogalla in a car provided by my holiday company. As this included in the holiday price I have no idea what the fare would be so have no idea what to tip. Any advice would be most welcome.

390 helpful votes Fare is around Rs 10,000 hence 5-10% tipping makes Rs 500-1000.

If the transfer is already paid for as part of your holiday, is there any need to tip ?
As he will be driving for about three hours and will most likely have to drive back to Colombo I thought a tip was necessary.
