Baggage moving in Tokyo

Sorry if this sort of question is well known, couldn't find answer.

We'll be a Ginza station and needing to go to Red Planet hotel at Asakusa. The hotel looks nearest to Tawaramachi station.

Having bags, would we be better to take 2 cabs (there's 3 adults and I'm assuming boots/trunks aren't huge) or would the metro be OK, in terms of escalators etc.

All advice welcome!

Many thanks.Tokyo cabs are not cheap, then- in UKP about £50 for two cabs for 5 miles. Will bear that very much in mind, as it may well affect our route INTO Tokyo
