Adventures Abroad Travel Agency

We are looking at booking a Baltic tour through Adventures Abroad Travel Agency. We live in the US, and they are located in Richmond, VC, Canada. The tour is very reasonably priced, but I haven't been able to find any current reviews on this company (most reviews are several years old). Has anyone traveled with them?

Hello,

This Bargain Travel forum isn't a tours forum and TripAdvisor does not have a specific one to discuss tours.

TripAdvisor does not list Travel Agencies for us to review so thats why you are not finding reviews here.

Have you used the search box just above your question here and typed in the Agency or tour name and clicked on "All Forums" to search? Maybe they have been mentioned on a forum.

I have travelled with about 6 times and have always been happy with them. Tipping is included apart from the main tour guide. All entrance fees included. They can be flexible as they are small group tours. I have been on one as low as 6 people up to 14. Been to Copper Canyon; Peru and Bolivia; Ecuador and Galapagos. Greece and Turkey; Spain; and Morocco. Guides are usually outstanding. They do review your feedback and make improvements. You would get a good exchange rate in the U.S. Read the fine print about trip cancellations and deposits so you fully understand the conditions. If you book air travel through them the transfers are included. Travellers are usually 50+ and active. Usually a lot of walking - up to 18000 steps a day. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know.

Toured Egypt (along the Nile) with AA in Oct. 2017. It was a wonderful trip with a knowledgeable guide.

Saw everything you want and hope to see in that ancient part of the world.

The AA office staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. However, unless a tour meets the minimum it may not go and tours are guaranteed 60 prior to departure. Earlier if quota is met. However, wise to have a back up destination in case your first choice doesn't fill.

this company is one of the best that I have travelled with. Everything is covered except most lunches and any booze you want to buy. They cover the tipping for guides, restaurants, bus drivers etc. the accommodations were well placed and the itinerary was very thorough. The guides are A1 and so knowledgeable . I will definitely use them again on my next trip.

Karen QWI - did you end up booking this trip with Adventures Abroad? I'm looking at their Baltic tour and am curious if you ended up going on it and if so what did you think?

I am also looking at their Baltic tour in August. I hope she answers, or anyone else who has traveled with them.

I have travelled with them more than 7 times and will be doing again so next month with a further trip next September. Their greatest points are: no extra optional tours added, although if there is a possibility of going to a cultural event (cultural show as dance, puppet, opera etc.) you can decide to do so and the Tour Leader will facilitate buying of tickets for those wishing to do it; all tips included except for tour leader at the end of trip; no shopping stops, so if you wish to shop you can do so as an individual when there is free time; all breakfasts and dinners included and the dinners are mostly in restaurants not at the hotel; small groups only up to 18 people; knowledgeable tour leaders.

Wow, this must be a first, no real or imagined complaints, nobody screaming about scammers or fraud, what’s happening here?
